While
curricular activities mould the mind co-curricular activities
prepare the spirit. Therefore, it is imperative that any institute
takes upon itself the responsibility of making its students 'complete'
human beings. An opportunity is given to the students to invest
their energy not only in academics but also to augment their overall
personality by participating in a plethora of extracurricular
activities.
Recreational Facilities
Other facilities at CMD include meditation, martial arts and yoga
sessions, indoor and outdoor game facilities to improve the intellectual
strength and self confidence of students.
SPANDAN
- The Management Festival
It aptly symbolizes the festive period of October- November.
It is a virtual pot-pourri of events giving students every
opportunity to prove their mettle as well as to hone their
skills on a national level. It includes formal events with
a corporate touch like Business Simulation Games, Business
Quiz, Presentations on Business Topics, Advertising Strategy
Development, Debates and also informal events like extempore,
dumb-charades and other cultural events. Leading institutes
from all over India participate in SPANDAN and such open interaction
upgrades dynamism and confidence in all those associated with
this mega event.
MUSINGS
- The Quarterly Journal
This quarterly is published by a publication group comprising
of students under the guidance of a faculty member. It contains
articles on management issues, business environment, industry,
cultural and social issues and many more. A business quiz
along with other features keeps the students in tune with
the latest trends and inculcates in them a literary sense.
Moreover it also helps one to develop the skills of expressing
their ideas/ opinions in words and reinstates the reading
habit.

is a forum for the students to display their creative
prowess and business acumen. The magazine functions
as a mouthpiece for CMDians. They voice their ideas,
desires, ambitions and aspirations and is a symbol of
freedom of speech

the important function of being the bond between the
Institute and its Alumni. It is managed by a body
comprising of both the faculty and the students and
organizes the annual convention and alumni meet. The
